With the online service, customers can get estimated deliveiy times and even avoid leaving their homes at all. Were starting to see a lot of Click Ship with carrier pickup every day we have several carrier pickups that print out in the morning and they stop for on their routes, Sorenson said. You dont have to wait in line, and you can print out your postage right from your computer. If you use regular stamps on anything more than a pound, the package must be presented to a post office employee in person. However, using the online service or a postage meter machine avoids that step because the packages are traceable Vi bui.i Sorenson said the Automated Postal Machine in the lobby of the Fremont Post Office is another option for people looking to avoid lines.

Through Thursday a postal employee will be in the lobby during regular business hours helping people use the automated machine and directing them to it. Its open 24 hours a day. You can do almost anything on it, and you wont have to wait, he said. A contract package drop-off at the Fremont Hy-Vee Food Store is another way to avoid Post Office lines. No matter what way customers plan to send packages, cards and letters, Sorenson said the best way to reach your loved one before Christmas is to do it as soon as possible.
