Almanac OBITUARIES Pete Christo Pete Christo, 69, of 1321 Dakota died Saturday at the Skilled Care Center of Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. He had had heart problems. He was s- born June 23, 1914 in Newman Grove. He farmed near tanelle for 25 years. He moved to Albion, then farmed do near FonFremont in November of 1980.

Mr. Christo was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 200 in Fremont. He married the former Martha Socha on Jan. 7, 1946 in Primrose, Neb. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Richard of Nickerson; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Joyce) Johnk of Schuyler and Mrs. Gary (Joann) Schlapfer of Fremont; three brothers, George and Henry, both of Albion, and John of Marshalltown, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Irene) Merritt of Tarzana, Mrs. Henry (Rose) Bohm of Norfolk and Mrs.

Keith (Anna) Jewell of Albion; and four grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel-Zion Lutheran Church northeast of Albion. The Rev. Larry Spomer and Intern Brian Bergum will officiate.

A prayer services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Moser Memorial Chapel in 'Fremont, the Rev. Charles Swanson officiating. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. today at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, and 12:30 p.m.

until time of service Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Immanuel-Zion Cemetery in rural Albion. Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association. Ruth M. Dickerson Ruth M.

Dickerson, 78, of 340 W. 19th died Sunday at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. Services are pending at LattinDugan-Chambers Funeral Home. Esther M. Furstenau Esther M.

Furstenau, 86, of 260 W. 21st. died Saturday at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. She was born April 3, 1896 in Monowi, Neb. Before moving to Fremont in 1965, she lived in Plainview and Scribner.

She married Ray Furstenau on Jan. 14, 1920 in Pierce. He died Feb. 5, 1976. Survivors include three sons, Dean of Fremont, Ken of Sacramento, and Lenard of Saudi Arabia; two daughters, Bernice Johnson of Fremont and Elaine Christensen of Glendale, two sisters, Lillie Foster of Plainview and Tracy Neal of Creighton; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church, the Rev. John Swearingen officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Presbyterian Church of Fremont. Anton F. Havel SCRIBNER Anton F. Havel, 91, of rural Scribner, died Sunday at St.

Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. He was a retired farmer and lifetime area resident. He was born Sept. 16, 1892 in rural Scribner. He was a member of Dodge American Legion Post No.

122, and was a World War I veteran. He married Emma Faltin on June 29, 1926 in Dodge. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Arlan (Magdalen) Nelson of West Point and Mrs.

Kenneth (Marie) Burger of Snyder; one sister, Mrs. John (Agnes) Hammerschmidt of Wabasso, 12 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge, the Rev.

Hugh Schwartz officiating. Visitation will be from p.m. Tuesday at Humlicek Funeral Home in Dodge. A rosary will be held there at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

A 9:30 a.m. prayer service will be held Wednesday at the funeral home. Military graveside services will be conducted by Dodge American Legion Post No. 122. Gladys H.

Weber Gladys H. Weber, 93, of 720 N. William died Friday night in St. Petersburg, where she had gone to visit a son. She had lived in Fremont since 1967.

Mrs. Weber was born July 7, 1890, in Aurora. She lived in Marquette, Neb. during her early life. On Oct.

30, 1913, she married William R. Weber in Aurora. In 1937, the family moved to Lincoln. After Mr. Weber's death in 1966, Mrs.

Weber moved to Fremont. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include three sons, Robert of Seminole, Russell of Fremont and Paul of Lakewood, nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, the Rev.

Dr. Dwain Acker officiating. Hodgman-Splain-Roberts Mortuary of Lincoln is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be sent to First Christian Church. Woman's foot impaled A woman's foot was impaled in an early morning accident Sunday on U.S. 30, three miles east of Fremont. Brenda Sexton of Pittsburgh, was a passenger in a vehicle which went off the highway near a highway construction project east of Fremont. The vehicle hit several construction grade rods, three of which came through the vehicle's floorboard on the passenger side, according to fire department records. One of the rods went through Ms.
