Sheriffs department receives equipment The Dodge County Sheriffs Department is being awarded new preliminary alcohol breath testing equipment units purchased from Nebraskas federal highway safety alcohol incentive grant funding. The Dodge County Sheriff Department is being awarded the new equipment because they have identified a local need and submitted a qualifying application. Eighth was sentenced to no drivers license for one year for driving during suspension, a $250 fine for minor in possession of alcohol and no driver's license for 30 days for zero tolerance violation.

Andrew Harms, 18, of Dodge was sentenced to a $250 fine for minor in possession of alcohol. Gary Tumwall, 53, 1448 W. 11th St, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 30 days jail with credit for time served, a $500 fine and no drivers license for six months. John Nutzman, 54, 1531 19th St, was sentenced to six months probation, 60 volunteer hours and no driver's license for 90 days for driving while intoxicated. Nathan Cattau, 23, of Columbus was sentenced to 30 days jail with credit for time served, a $500 fine and no drivers license for six months for driving while intoxicated and to 30 days jail concurrent and no drivers license for one year for driving during suspension.
